For any assignments placed in County programs covered by HIPAA (see Master List of Covered Components), the County will identify these to the Contractor and provide operational policies and procedures for the training of the contract employee. Contractors are responsible for:

1. Having their employees review the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rule training materials
2. Having each employee sign acknowledgment forms regarding Privacy and Security Rule practices at the County of Sacramento

The forms are to be signed prior to starting work in the County assignment covered by HIPAA. Instructions on distribution of the forms are located at the top of each form.
